However, there are several reasons why she might regret doing these procedures on her body in the future. Angela first talked about losing weight during the season five Happily Ever? After Tell-All and revealed she gained 20 pounds while being quarantined in the house. The 55-year-old meemaw shared she would have a heart attack if she didn’t get the surgery. Her husband, Michael Ilesanmi, was completely against the surgery, but Angela didn’t budge. She went to a popular plastic surgeon based in Beverly Hills and got a gastric sleeve, along with a breast reduction and lift.

Many 90 Day Fiancé fans were disappointed to see that Angela failed to follow the instructions before her life-threatening procedures. Even though doctors told her smoking could be dangerous before the operation, she didn’t listen and smoked numerous cigarettes in the days leading up to the procedure. This is one of the major reasons why Angela might regret having weight loss surgery. The patient is supposed to quit smoking forever and opt for a healthier lifestyle if they want to see positive results in their body. Reports suggest smoking after weight loss surgery may increase the risk of diabetes and heart disease. Even though Angela looks stunning in her slimmer physique in her latest photos, she can still experience adverse effects in the long run if she doesn’t give up her cigarettes.
One needs a lot of emotional support before and after getting major surgery, and Angela had two. However, it doesn’t seem like Angela’s husband isn’t giving her the emotional support she needs. In the last few episodes of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, Michael looked more concerned about his wife’s boob size, rather than her overall health. It was pretty unsettling to watch as he talked to the plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Obeng only about the size of Angela’s breasts. Even the doctor pointed that out and told the cameras Michael needs to fall in love with Angela’s personality and not her physical features, which have now changed drastically. The 90 Day Fiancé star has lost a lot of weight from her chest, as the doctor removed two pounds from each breast. While Angela may be able to breathe fine, her husband is finding it difficult to accept her new chest. It can take a toll on her mental health, which may eventually lead to stress and possible overeating.
Many 90 Day Fiancé fans know Angela is stubborn, and she may not be able to follow the diet suggested by her doctors. Fans are skeptical she will keep off her weight. Angela definitely enjoys her junk food, and it could be difficult for her to change her mindset and switch to a healthy lifestyle. Reports reveal that, even though a patient had weight loss surgery, they are still restricted on the types of foods they can eat (via Barilife). Angela would have to control her food portions and might have to avoid eating sweets and carbonated drinks completely. Considering her careless and irresponsible attitude, it appears she might fail to follow a healthy diet and will succumb to her old routine of overeating and regaining weight.
It looks like Angela has already started experiencing the drawbacks of having weight loss surgery. She is worried she is losing weight rapidly, and it is making her skin sag, especially the fat beneath her chin. She doesn’t want to face Michael while having her “turkey gobble.” Now, she wants a facelift, which requires her to quit smoking four weeks before the operation. Her new doctor canceled the facelift surgery when he learned Angela had been smoking. He threatened her with a $1,500 fine if she smoked again. Some of the latest pictures suggest Angela still has that turkey gobble. Overall, Angela’s surgeries might not be enough to give her the new look she wants, especially if she can’t combine them with a healthy lifestyle.
