‘Perfect Strangers’ star dishes on 60 lb weight loss during quarantine
Bronson Pinchot is looking “perfect.”
Earlier this month, the “Perfect Strangers” star posted a side-by-side image of himself — one image was current, and the other was from 2017. The difference was shocking, as one image, the recent one, showed him significantly thinner.
“Me. Before self-designed healthy plant-based eating program & 20 seconds ago,” he wrote.
The man who famously played the lovable Balki Bartokomous lost 60 pounds during quarantine. Bronson’s transformation began in May 2020 after coming across a picture of himself from the 2017 reboot of “Battle of the Network Stars.”
“There was an old fat guy,” he told Page Six on March 29, referring to himself.
After purging his pantry of junk food, he changed his diet overnight.
“And then I just put healthy food in the house,” he said, but conceded that it was a struggle at first, as he’d go to bed with hunger pains.

Bronson, now a vegan, also admits that he doesn’t work out because he wants to see if he can maintain his weight based strictly off his lifestyle and eating habits.
After his weight loss, Bronson discussed taking out a box of clothes that he’d had stashed away for 25 years, much of it from his time on the popular sitcom.
“And I just took off my clothes and put them on and they fit,” he said. “And I thought, ‘I’m pretty sure I’m the only 61-year-old within a 10-mile radius that’s getting into his clothes from when he was a 26-year-old doing two aerobics classes a day.’ And that feels pretty good. That feels pretty good.”
