Katie Price hopes son Harvey is on the road to a very healthy New Year as he step up his new diet plan.
The former model has been open about her concern for the teenager after his weight soared to 29 stone in November.
Katie has been working hard to help him and the mother-of-five transformed her boyfriend Carl Woods’ garage into a home gym for her eldest child.
Before Christmas, Harvey lost half a stone in just a week after the work outs and special meals at school.
Now the family are working round the clock to get his diet just right in the hope that he will carry on losing the pounds heading into January.
She posted a video on him enjoying a healthy meal on Instagram after admitting he must get his weight down as things started to get out of control.
Harvey is autistic, partially blind and he has Prader-Willi Syndrome, an underactive thyroid and diabetes.
His genetic condition can cause excessive hunger.
Katie, 42, has enlisted the help of Prep Kitchen to send special meals to her son’s school – and she was thrilled with his first week before they broke up for Christmas.
Now he is back on the meals as he gets fit for 2021.
She wrote: “So proud of Harvey for actually trying new food and especially because they are healthy meals from @prepkitchenuk this is the start of hoping Harvey continues to stick to trying different meals to lose weight In a healthy way.”
Katie was at war with her ex Kris Boyson over a treadmill she wanted Harvey to use.
She claimed her gym equipment had gone “walkabout” – and it was a set-back to her son’s hopes of losing more weight.
But Kris told the Mirror: “Kate was throwing a treadmill away as it was broken, she gifted it to me and I spent money rewiring it and fixing it.
“Now it’s fixed she wants it back? I don’t believe she wants it back, I just think she’s using me for another story.
“First it was her mum that wanted it, now it’s Harvey, make your mind up.
“Surely by now Carl is getting the hump that Kate keeps mentioning my name.”
