Twitter appropriately reacts to Bol Bol’s randomly scheduled drug test after performance vs. Wizards
Denver Nuggets’ Bol Bol has yet to suit up in an official NBA game, but in his first action within the NBA’s bubble he was an absolute star.
The 2019 second-round draft pick had 16 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks in what was a great coming-out party for the 20-year-old in an exhibition game against the Wizards.
It was so good that his ‘random’ drug test that was previously scheduled after the game, according to Bleacher Report, wasn’t so random.

Of course, NBA Twitter was here for it.
Bol Bol had an excellent debut in his first scrimmage as a Denver Nugget – so the NBA scheduled a drug test for him after the game.

So Bol Bol was selected for a random drug test and that is what is holding up his media availability.
Gotta say, that doesn’t seem very random lmao

Again, the drug test was reportedly scheduled by the league before the game. By no means was this a result of his performance in this one contest. You have to admit, the timing though is a little bit suspect.
The 7-foot-2 forward was phenomenal doing a little bit of everything, including knocking down threes, for Denver. The rookie was able to make the trip down to the Disney bubble due to expanded rosters being allowed to help circumvent potential constraints and injuries.
