Thomas Patrick Bilella, 56 of Holmdel died on Sunday, August 1.

Thomas was born to Karla and Patrick Bilella in Point Pleasant on August 8, 1964.

At the age of seven, he and his mother moved to Keyport where he was raised. He graduated from St. John Vianney High School as Vice President of his class, as well as runner-up for best dressed, always important to him. He went on to Rutgers, then Bloomfield College of Chiropractic and eventually graduated with a Master’s degree from University of Bridgeport.

Thomas opened a chiropractic practice in the early 90s, and then Red Bank Nutrition Treatment Center. Known as the “Guru” he was very devoted to his clients. Often referred to as one of the top nutritionists in the country his life revolved around healthy eating and an active lifestyle, which helped him become Mr. New Jersey Naturally in 1995. His life was dedicated to helping many people take better care of their bodies, including the NY Jets and other NFL clients. He had a passion for socializing, golf, and speaking at charitable functions. A great dancer, he may be best known for the laughter and joy that he brought to so many. His greatest passion was spending time with family.

Thomas is predeceased by his father Patrick Bilella and is survived by his wife Mandi Bilella, their beloved daughter Sophia, his mother Karla LaVoie, and his step-children Alexa Crapanzano and Danny Crapanzano.

Visitation Tuesday, August 3 from 4pm – 8pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A graveside service will be offered on Wednesday, August 4 at 11am at Holmdel Mausoleum.  For messages of condolence, please visit Thomas’ page of tributes at www.holmdelfuneralhome.com.
