We throw our trash to the curb at home because keeping it around just creates a mess in our life. Becoming healthy and fit works much the same way! We need to throw our “history” in the trash.

The part of our history, that is, that messes up and undermines our best efforts to pave those new paths of wellness, energy, and strength. We all have trash, better known as that baggage, we carry around, that prevents us from reaching our potential in life.

The most common forms of trash are fear and doubt.

Fear is probably the one obstacle we all tend to deny the most. Fear of failure, fear of embarrassment, fear of rejection and loss — the list goes on and on. We often view fear as the reflection of weakness — but why? No one lives fear free. If we were entirely fearless, we might not even have the skills to survive.
