Mt. Juliet High School to transition to remote learning over COVID-19

Mt. Juliet High School will transition to all-remote learning on Monday, according to an announcement by Wilson County Schools.

Graduates parade onto the football field for graduation of the 2020 class at Mt. Juliet High School in Mt. Juliet, Tenn. Thursday, June 18, 2020.

The transition does not impact West Wilson Middle students in grades 7-8 who are attending classes at Mt. Juliet High.

The intent is for Mt. Juliet High students to return to the modified hybrid model the week of Dec. 14.

The reason for the transition is due to an increasing number of students and staff affected by COVID-19, and out of the extreme caution for keeping the school community healthy, according to the district. Wilson County Schools has been off this week for Thanksgiving break.

Wilson County students in grades 6-12 have been attending classes in-person two days a week with remote instruction three days a week since the start of the semester.
