Krystal Nielson from Bachelor in Paradise and boyfriend Miles Bowles recently hosted a gender reveal party, where they excitedly learned more about the baby they are expecting.
Krystal Nielson is a 33-year-old fitness coach who introduced her social media following to Bowles in early October. A mere month later, on Nov. 11, she happily announced her pregnancy. While Nielson received an outpouring of support from much of Bachelor Nation, she was also heavily criticized for the lightning-fast relationship. This new man came along just months after Nielson’s divorce from Chris Randone. She’d fallen for Chris during Bachelor in Paradise season five. She and Randone split in February after only eight months of marriage.

Nielson is content to let the haters hate. She and Bowles were positively glowing during their gender reveal party on Nov. 25. Nielson shared the unforgettable experience in a Krystal Nielson YouTube video, which showed the couple smiling with joy as pink confetti rained down. The mom-to-be sported a pink dress and said, “I’ve been thinking it’s a girl for this whole pregnancy up until like, two weeks ago. And then I’m like, oh my God it’s a boy.” After the reveal, Nielson was adorned with a pink and gold sash. The sash read, “Growing a princess.” Baby Bowles is due in April 2021. See the video below:
Since her baby announcement, the Bachelor in Paradise personality has been chronicling her #fitmom journey on Instagram. She shares the ups and downs of pregnancy and offers healthy tips to other expecting women. She wrote in one caption, “This week I’ve been really nauseous (I think baby is going through a growth spurt??) so I haven’t gotten any workouts in. Instead, I’ve been focusing on my morning and evening walks + making sure my meals are hydrating and nutrient-packed! I’m only halfway through this journey and there is still so much to discover about me, my body, and my baby…so we are focusing on being healthy and happy one day at a time. So, how is Randone handling his ex’s announcement? If he feels some type of way, he’s not letting his social media followers know it. Randone continues to be an advocate for mental health, regularly making vulnerable posts about his recent struggles with anxiety and depression. He often uses the hashtag #breakthestigma. One such post can be seen below.
Nielson and Randone weren’t meant to be another Bachelor Nation power couple. Both appear to be happier as they embark on their own journeys. However, Randone isn’t completely jaded when it comes to the prospect of love. On Instagram, the Bachelor in Paradise alum posted the caption, “I think there’s real love out there for me somewhere, what do you think?“
