WIZARDS vs. CLIPPERS: WHAT TO WATCH

With no Bradley Beal or Davis Bertans in Orlando, someone has to step up scoring-wise for the Wizards. Rui Hachimura is an obvious choice, and he looked the part against Denver. Hachimura scored 18 points against a large Nuggets lineup. Washington will look to see more of that, especially against a strong defensive team like the Clippers.

One of the hardest adjustments players will have to make is dealing with silence on the court. With no fans, there were some weird feelings from Wizards players as the game got underway. This time on the court, it will be interesting to see if things feel more normal for Washington.

The starting lineup will always be something to keep an eye on, with major pieces not in Orlando. In the first scrimmage, Scott Brooks went with Shabazz Napier, Isaac Bonga, Troy Brown Jr., Hachimura and Thomas Bryant. In the second scrimmage, it could look different.

WIZARDS vs. CLIPPERS PLAYERS TO WATCH

Troy Brown Jr., G, Wizards (9.7 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 2.3 apg): Brown is another player who will have an expanded role in Orlando. He did it all against Denver, finishing with 12 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals. Moving forward, the Wizards will be looking for him to score and create.

Kawhi Leonard, F, Clippers (26.9 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 5.0 apg): An obvious choice, but it’s always exciting to watch Leonard play. Additionally, after the time off, keep an eye on how long it takes — if any time at all — for Leonard to shake off the rust and get back to his dominating ways.
