Amanda Nunes’ scheduled bantamweight title defence against Julianna Pena has been scrapped off of next weeks UFC 265 card after a positive COVID-19 test.

Per UFC chief business officer Hunter Campbell speaking to ESPN, the promotion will now look to reschedule the bout when Nunes is healthy and ready to compete while a potential replacement bout has yet to been determined.

Nunes would go on to confirm the news via her Instagram account:
