Things to look on the bright side about
1. Myles Garrett is still on pace for 23 sacks this season and his first Defensive MVP award.
2. Nick Chubb is on pace for 1,700 yards rushing and 14 TDs on the season. That’s pretty rad.
3. The offensive line – the healthy ones – continue to be a dominant force. Our run game in the cold weather months will crush.
4. Baker didn’t look great on downfield passing this week (the game plan didn’t have him doing it till the end), but he looked like he’s feeling better or his brace has been properly adjusted. He looked pretty solid this week and continues to not throw the game away.
5. Clowney and Wills had a week off to heal before the Cards game, and two games in 5 days. (Assuming they play)
6. The league is full of kicker problems. We don’t have one, the new guy is killing it.
7. Our game plan worked. We took it to them in their house and basically dominated until attrition had their Pro Bowl WRs and RB getting huge chunks against our backups.
8. The Bungles also lost in cringey fashion, and the hated Ratbirds might lost to Carson Wentz tonight. That would be fun.
9. David Njoku continues to look like the guy we should keep in the Njoku/Hooper Hunger Games. Good for him, anyway.
10. We’re one week closer to Landry Time.
